Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy
| The championships were held at Lignano Sabbiadoro a seaside summer resort. The championships were in April before the town explodes for the summer months. Getting there was reasonably easy Victoria, Vancouver, Frankfurt, Venice, train to Latisana, bus to Lignano Sabbiadoro and Bobs your uncle you're at the championships. |  |
The Venue
I'm no expert, but this venue was the right size. The configuration and proximity of the warmup area was also good. As a photographer camera views were good from almost every angle and seat.
