I sell weightlifting photographs

I have photographed all the mens A groups from the 2003, 2006, & 2007 Worlds and the 2008 European championships. I usually try and photograph the B groups but rarely the C groups. This is usually because of time factors & environment. The last two worlds have taken place under extremely hot and humid conditions, so 12 hours per day was plenty for me. As one journalist commented; they have been the only Worlds held in a sauna.

I sell 8x10 or 8x12 glossy or matte finish photos for $16.00 each plus a flat postage rate of $4.00 in North America no matter how many photos are purchased. For foreign rates; please enquire.

My photographs have appeared in the quarterly IWF magazine, Bigger Stronger Faster magazine, Strength and Speed Newsletter.

McDonalds USA is one of my clients.

My sports background

In high school I played football, wrestled and did track (sprints). In the last year of high school I did some Olympic weightlifting and became hooked on the sport. I competed from 1970 to my last competition in 1997. I was an average competitor with lifts of 117.5kg (259lbs) snatch and 152.5kg (336lbs) CJ at 82.5kg (181 lbs) BW. I guess I'm most proud of the fact that I kept reasonable strength at an older age as my last competition at 45 yrs old I snatched 97.5kg (215lbs) and CJ 122.5kg (270lbs) at 83kg BW.
