He is presumably supposed to provide the "color commentary" and thus lend some technical commentary. Unfortunately, his knowledge of Olympic lifting is obviously superficial at best, as is surely apparent to anyone who is an Olympic lifter, as I have been. There must be some knowledgeable people who would be interested in that job.
